ABOUT ME: I grew up in Indiana and moved to Vermont in 1985. When traveling to Parc Safari in Canada, my family was impressed with the full-face designs offered in the face-painting kiosk. I had not seen full faces offered at any events where I had taken my children in Vermont. I was intrigued. I ordered professional face paints, books and videos, and started practicing. I have been a professional face painter since early 2004.
TRAINING/EDUCATION: I am continually working to improve my skills and speed. I attend at least one face painting convention annually where I network, take classes, share ideas, and practice with other artists from around the world so that I can be a better painter at your event.
I am a member of FACE, The International Face Painting Association (http://www.facepaintingassociation.com/) and follow its Safe Face Painting Practices.
PHILOSOPHY: My goal is to add to the fun and excitement of your event. You will find me to be honest, hard working, and dependable. I will be on time and will do my best work on each person I paint. If you have any questions before, during, or after an event, please ask.

PRODUCTS USED: FACE MANIA! uses only professional make-up! The water-activated cosmetics wash off easily with soap and water. We also offer water-resistant makeup for pool parties and hot, humid days that can be removed easily with baby oil, micellar water, or other waterproof makeup removers. All paints and glitters used are FDA-compliant and have been approved for use on the skin.
PRACTICES: Safe painting practices are important to us. We clean our sponges and brushes regularly and strive to keep our work area as clean as possible. We start each painting with a cleaned face, and will not paint children who have an obvious rash, suspected skin condition, or show any signs of contagious illness.
INSURANCE: FACE MANIA! carries professional liability insurance. Hiring an insured painter removes your risk.
